Devikone was founded in April 2021. The founders, Ari Salonen, Tuomas Palenius and Jussi Alare brought with them years of experience in integrations and business development.
Ari and Tuomas have been involved in delivering integrations for nearly their entire careers. They worked together at Integration House Oy from 2013 to 2017, and following an acquisition, at Digia from 2017 onwards. An Open Source integration team was established at Digia to capitalise on the expertise gained through the acquisition. Ari led the team's growth alongside coding and architecture work. Tuomas served as architect and tech lead on the most challenging projects. In 2021, the passion for entrepreneurship became overwhelming, and Devikone Oy was founded on April Fools' Day 2021. Jussi Alare brought to the founding team extensive experience in demanding software sales and business development.
In their previous careers, our founders witnessed first-hand the significance of integrations for end customers. Every phase of integration projects, with all their nuances, became familiar territory, and year after year, through diverse experiences, the conviction grew that there was strong market demand for a company specialising in integrations.
